Responsibility for your data
Valuation Partners decides how the personal data described here is used. Privacy questions and requests go to enquiries@valuationpartners.ae.
Applicable law
We follow Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. Where an assignment involves a DIFC or ADGM entity, or data processed in either financial centre, we also observe that centre's data protection regulations.
Data you send us
The valuation request form and our email inbox receive:
- contact details: name, company, email address and phone number;
- assignment details: what is being valued, why, the Emirate or jurisdiction, approximate revenue and target date;
- for disputes, the names of other parties so that we can check for conflicts;
- anything else you choose to write in your message.
Please do not send financial statements, identity documents or case papers through the form. We will tell you how to share documents securely once an assignment is agreed.
Data collected automatically
Our hosting provider logs technical data such as IP address, browser and pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from misuse. Analytics data is collected only if you allow it; see our cookies page.
What we use it for
- replying to your enquiry and preparing a scope and fee quotation;
- checking conflicts of interest before accepting an assignment;
- carrying out an agreed engagement and keeping proper records of it;
- running the website securely and, with your consent, understanding how it is used.
Who receives it
Your data is not sold or used for advertising. It is shared only with providers that support our work, such as website hosting, our enquiry inbox and the spreadsheet where enquiries are logged, under confidentiality terms, or where a law or authority requires it. Some of these providers store data outside the UAE; where they do, we rely on transfers permitted under the applicable law.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become assignments are deleted once they no longer need a reply or follow-up. Engagement records are kept for as long as professional and legal record-keeping duties require.
Your choices
Depending on the law that applies, you can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, limit how we use it, or object to a particular use. Consent to analytics can be withdrawn at any time. Email enquiries@valuationpartners.ae and we will respond within the period the law allows.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the UAE Data Office or, for matters within the DIFC or ADGM, the data protection commissioner of that centre.
